The New School Uniform?

A white shirt. Easily bought and cheap. Easy to wash.

A fitted blazer for the girls. Just a option. Fairly cheap. As long as it's black it's fine.

Another example. For girls.

Blazer for boys.

Pencil skirt for girls?

Or pleated?
Trousers. Plain

Black skinny jeans.

You can wear whatever footwear you want. E.g Converse! (^_^)

And maybe ties?

The Present School Uniform

This is the actual link to the School Uniform change on the Thomas Tallis website.

This is what the school uniform is:

We hope that our students are proud to be part of our school. We see them as ambassadors for the school and want them to wear our uniform with pride. Our uniform is very simple and consists of
  • a Tallis polo shirt
  • a Tallis sweat top
  • Plain black trousers, skirt or shorts.
We do not expect students to wear other items underneath their tops which stick out for example, long sleeved shirts underneath a polo shirt.
Students are not allowed to wear:
  1. Jeans (of any colour, including black), Jeans are identifiable because they have studs.
  2. Tracksuit bottoms.
  3. Any item with a logo, other than the school logo.
  4. Or trousers at half mast.

We think that the PE uniform is a bit ghastly and it's not that attractive or flattering.

Welcome to our blog!

This is Phoebe, Chloe, Kayleigh and Daisy. We're doing a Wellbeing campaign about School Uniform. We know many people are against and for the issue but we feel it's important and the uniform reflects the school itself. By changing it, the pupils will look smarter, and it'll be more pratical for everyday use. Polo shirts have their pros and cons but I feel that ours are poor quality and they aren't good for all year round. We're not allowed to wear our hoodies anyway. So whats the point of having them? We are in need of a change as we're also expecting a new school builiding. I think we should still keep blue in the uniform as it's been a colour we've been associated with for a long time. Keep checking the website for updates on our blog. Thanks for reading! (^_^)
